Friday Finds: black+blum lunch/bento box

Who doesn't know the bento, the Japanese meal container, full of goodies and often prepared with care and creativity?

Ane has long time ago bought a box for her lunch and she has choosen a design version!
This is the Box Appetit created by the Anglo-Swiss lab Black+Blum: practical, compact and colourful.
She has purchased it online at Wearunique, a site that puts the spotlight on young designers, with a focus on eco-friendly ideas, full of accessories and household items, all special and fun.
This lunch box can be washed in the dishwasher and heated in the microwave and has a compartment to divide hot and cold meals.
The lid is solid, it closes perfectly and has a small section for sauces. The condiments and cutlery are awkward to carry, so the package is equipped with a smaller container and a clip where you can put your chopsticks or fork.
The fork, that comes with the lunch box, is exceptional: it is 2 to 1 and also acts as a knife!
This modern "bento" can be combined with its bag in nonwoven fabric and impermeable nylon, which can be used to carry your lunch, or as a mat to sit in.
The bag is the only flaw, the lunch box is so large that it can fit only by inserting it vertically, with the risk of shifting your meals.
A very good purchase, but it was much prettier the bento version, rectangular and tiny!
