Il 14 Marzo è infatti il White Day, giorno durante il quale gli uomini che
hanno ricevuto dei cioccolatini a San Valentino, indipendentemente dalla
tipologia del regalo, ricambiamo il dono con uno di valore superiore (tre volte
superiore).
Anche il White Day è una festa commerciale e fu iniziata dalla National Confectionery Industry Association nel 1978 con scopi promozionali, riprendendo l’iniziativa di un’azienda di Fukuoka che aveva istituito Il “Marshmallow Day” l’anno precedente.
I regali che si acquistano per questa dolce occasione riflettono il legame tra il donatore e la ricevente: si tratta di cioccolata, marshmallow, peluche, gioielli, capi di abbigliamento e lingerie tutti rigorosamente bianchi.
Nonostante la natura dell’evento, lo trovo divertente: aspettare di vedere cosa si riceve crea un’ attesa piacevole, non trovate?

In Japan, exactly one
month after Valentine's Day, it’s gift time again.
March 14th is the White Day and all the men who received chocolates on Valentine's Day, regardless of the type of the gift, give back a valuable (three times higher value) present.
The White Day is a commercial holiday and was created by the National Confectionery Industry Association in 1978 for promotional purposes, and has continued the initiative, called "Marshmallow Day", set up the previous year by a Fukuoka company.
The gifts reflect the relationship between the giver and the receiver: they can be chocolates, marshmallows, plushes, jewelry, clothing and lingerie, all strictly white.
Despite the nature of the event, I find it very fun: waiting for and seeing what you’ll get, create a pleasant wait, do you think the same?
